RULES
THERE WILL BE NO SPECTATORS as during the time between rounds there could be up to 32 players plus organisers, coming or going. Add partners / parents of players and this could exceed the limit of 30. Breaks have been arranged to ensure that this doesn’t occur and numbers will be monitored.
No trial ends, all shots count, 21 shots or 85 minutes duration.
The bell will sound after 80 minutes at which point the jack must have been legally set from a legally set mat. No visiting the head.
If the match finishes in a tie then an extra end will be played (toss for jack).
Dress code is Club Shirts and greys
The setting of the jack will be undertaken by the Skip and any measuring required will be undertaken by the Lead, using their own measure. Skips will keep a scorecard, which must be submitted to the Umpire, at the end of the game. Both Leads are able to set the mat, but must sanitise their hands before doing so, or wear a glove.
Touchers will NOT be chalked and bowls in the ditch will not count.
Dead ends or jack put in the ditch would result in 2 shots to the opposition. Players should only touch their own bowls and sanitise their hands when necessary.
An umpire will be available, if required.
Players are asked to arrive no more than 15 minutes before their match is due to begin. This is to avoid overcrowding. Please be ready at appointed times.
