RULES

THERE WILL BE NO SPECTATORS. During the time between rounds there will be 16 players (8 from previous round + 8 from next round) plus 4 markers and 3-4 organisers. If you add partners/parents of players, some who may also be playing later and therefore remain on site, then there is only a small margin before you exceed the Government limit of 30 people.

ALL LOSERS ARE REQUIRED TO MARK IN THE NEXT ROUND, this is a condition of entry.

No trial ends, all shots count, 21 shots or 55 minutes duration.

The bell will sound after 50 minutes at which point the jack must have been legally cast. Marker to decide, if required, e.g. from a legally set mat.

No visiting the head.

If the match finishes in a tie then an extra end will be played (toss the jack)

Dress code is Club Shirts and Greys

The setting of the jack and any measuring required will be undertaken by the marker. Markers will place the jack, directed by the player with the mat. Markers will keep a scorecard. Both players are able to set the mat, but must sanitise their hands before doing so, or wear a glove.

Touchers will NOT be chalked and bowls in the ditch will not count.

Dead ends or jack put in the ditch will result in 2 shots to the opposition. Players should only touch their own bowls and sanitise their hands when necessary.

PLAYERS AND MARKERS PLEASE BE READY AT THE APPOINTED TIMES
