Our Youth Academy provides a performance focused, yet safe and fun bowling experience.
We are a club that opens its doors to the young generation and during 2018 it was decided to create a focused and well organised development programme, under the guidance of dedicated coaches. The NPBC Academy programme is designed to record practice and match performance to enable an improvement training programme to be set and tailored to each individual. This unique club level coaching programme will not only provide the senior ranks with quality trained Bowlers, but will help to raise the standard of Bowlers at County and National level. 2020 will see a new U18 Northern Bucks regional competition sponsored by our Academy partner Taylor Bowls and with NPBC’s Academy open to all clubs policy, it will mean that clubs with a small number of U18 players can send their young lions to us for regular weekly coaching and inclusion in this competition, whilst retaining their club membership.
