Six of our players were part of a 24-strong winning Buckinghamshire team in a top-level match against Northamptonshire recently.
Hosted at Newport Pagnell, the Central Region round robin game was in the prestigious Johns Trophy, one of England’s premier women’s inter-county outdoor bowls competitions.
Having won 94-93, Buckinghamshire now move forward to the quarter-finals, which involve stiff competition from counties from all over the country.
The Buckinghamshire ladies now have their sights firmly set on the final in Leamington Spa next month.
