Safeguarding and Welfare

NPBC and NBBA Academies take its safeguarding and welfare responsibilities very seriously. We have generic information displayed on noticeboards in the NPBC Clubhouse. Our safeguarding policy and guidelines have been written in conjunction with Bowls England, Sports England and the NSPCC. As a point of best practice those members and qualified coaching staff that have regular contact with our Academy attendees, undergo DBS checks, certification and safeguarding training.

The Academies have two Welfare OfficersFrances Llewellyn and Sue Miller.

Anyone wanting more information, or wanting to share concerns about a child’s welfare, should contact Frances on 01908 613 365 or Sue on 01908 613 478.
