A great start for the club in competitive inter-club
competitions
Terry Allen got the ball rolling in the London and Southern Counties campaign
with a convincing win at Flitwick in the Lonsdale singles.
In the Bucks Cup the men had a good 14 shot win over Chandos Park. Winning one
rink and losing one rink at home, and doing the same away gives us a healthy 10
points in the bag.
The men’s National two 4’s team had a huge win against Buckingham West End to
set up a home tie against Woburn Sands in the next round.
The ladies played local rivals Olney in the Trundell Trophy winning both home
and away to collect maximum points.
In the Burnham the ladies hosted Stony Stratford. Tied on the 17th end they
produced a great last end to claim the points
